Yusri Happy With His Charges For Securing A Draw Against Terengganu

MANJUNG, Perak FC manager Yusri Che Lah praised his men after securing a 2-2 draw with Terengganu FC in a Super League match at the Manjung Municipal Council Stadium (MPM), here tonight.

The host side looked almost certain to collect three valuable points after taking a 2-1 lead, displaying a flowing attacking style of play, before Terengganu equalized in injury time from the penalty spot.

‘I’m really satisfied with the performance of my men even though I’m a little disappointed not to win but one point is better compared to defeat.

‘If you follow on paper they (Terengganu) are better but my players showed a good style of play but due to a loss of focus, we were punished at the last minute and this is what I will emphasize later,’ he said during a press conference after the match here today.

Meanwhile, Badrul Afzan Razali who is in charge of Terengganu FC was full of praise for his charges for the never-say-die attitude displayed throughout the match and while trailing 1-2 until the final minute.

“I am g
lad that we managed to secure a point after staring at defeat. We were trailing twice and both times they fought back to level the tie,’ he said.
