WUS Germany sends more water filters to Vietnam’s typhoon-affected regions


Dr. Kambiz Ghawami, President of the World University Service (WUS) Germany, has presented 18 water filters – Portable Aqua Unit for Live Saving (PAUL) – to the Vietnamese localities affected by Typhoon Yagi and Storm Soulik. The gifts were handed over to a working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) at Frankfurt Airport on September 19, and arrived in Hanoi one day later. Of the filters, 10 are funded by the Hessen state authorities, and the others using donations by students, companies, and individuals
