UOB Malaysia Raises A Record RM2 Million Through 2023 UOB Global Heartbeat Run/Walk To Support Underprivileged Children

UOB Malaysia colleagues and customers raised a record RM2 million for charities through the Bank’s annual UOB Global Heartbeat Run/Walk. Surpassing last year’s fundraising amount of RM1.2 million, the money raised will go towards improving the lives of disadvantaged children and vulnerable communities from five local beneficiaries.

The UOB Global Heartbeat Run/Walk is an annual flagship volunteering and fundraising programme held globally across 18 markets where UOB has a presence. Since 2009, the programme has raised close to RM6.0 million to help improve the lives of communities in need and support causes that are aligned to the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility focus areas of art, children and education
