UDA Targets RM112.5 Mln In Sales Through Karnival UDA 2024 @ Lembah Klang

UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA), a leading company in property development and asset management, aims to generate RM112.5 million in sales through the Karnival UDA 2024 @ Lembah Klang, a three-day event starting today.

UDA president and chief executive officer, Datuk Mohd Salem Kailany, stated that this target includes RM110 million from property sales and RM2.5 million from sales by UDA entrepreneurs.

“As an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, this carnival supports the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) through the UDA Entrepreneur Incentive programme, which offers rental incentives for sales booths. “UDA also helps entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneur Empowerment programme, providing support for product or service branding, and digital advertising incentives using green screen technology,” he said at the launch of the carnival today.

The carnival is being held at Lake Valley, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras, from 10 am to 10 pm. It was launched by the M
inister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Datuk Ewon Benedick.

Mohd Salem stated that to promote high-quality, valuable products, UDA has launched the ‘Jimat Super Deals’ offering easy ownership plans, free legal fees for sales and purchase agreements, and low down payments for property buyers during the carnival.

Several property projects highlighted at the event are Taman Kuala Terengganu Golf Resort in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu; Pelindung Heights in Kuantan, Pahang; Areca Terrace and UDA Heights in Johor Bahru; Sedili Residensi in Kota Tinggi, Johor; Mawar @ Taman Sultan Sallehuddin in Alor Setar, Kedah; Crescent Dew Commercial in Kepala Batas; Wakaf Seetee Aisah 2 in Seberang Jaya, Penang; and Taman Sena Permai in Kangar, Perlis.

Meanwhile, Ewon emphasised UDA’s commitment to developing both commercial and residential properties, including affordable housing in the Klang Valley and central Malaysia as part of efforts to increase property ownership.

‘The ministry fully supports UDA’s eff
orts to develop more commercial and residential properties to help boost property ownership, especially among Bumiputeras,’ he said.

Ewon added that UDA is currently developing Residensi Akasia Jubilee, a project with 494 affordable housing units on 1.98 hectares of land in Kuala Lumpur.

‘This project is strategically located with easy access and nearby infrastructure. It is expected to be completed by mid-next year. The affordable housing initiative will provide greater opportunities for all generations to own residential property,’ he said.

The Karnival UDA 2024, now in its third year and second series after the first in Penang, features participation from 170 MSME entrepreneurs.

It serves as a platform to share information about UDA properties as well as advisory and guidance services to customers.

The carnival also hosts the ‘UDA Fun Run’, with participation fees being donated to four schools in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn.
