SME Corp Celebrates Over 700 Outstanding MSME Entrepreneurs At Enterprise 50 Awards


KUALA LUMPUR, SME Corp Malaysia has successfully nurtured 763 high-achieving Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), now recognised as distinguished recipients of the Enterprise 50 (E50) Award.

Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said among the recipients, 67 have listed on the capital market and expanded their reach across domestic and international markets.

To sustain this momentum, the ministry has implemented a series of knowledge-sharing sessions in collaboration with strategic partners, aimed at advancing the capabilities of E50 Award winners.

‘These sessions include e-Invoicing with Deloitte Malaysia, a Credit Assessment Programme, networking with alternative financing providers through RAM Rating Services Berhad and a Transformational Leadership talk led by governance and entrepreneurial expert, Datuk Seri Dr Idris Jala.

‘I believe such sessions serve as valuable resources for E50 alumni, fostering continuous capacity building,’ he said during the E50 Award
s ceremony here tonight.

Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, SME Corp Chairman Tan Sri Panglima Bernard Giluk Dompok, SME Corp Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rizal Nainy and Deloitte Malaysia CEO Yee Wing Peng.

With the theme ‘Celebrating Malaysia’s Entrepreneurial Spirit’, this year’s E50 Awards are jointly hosted by SME Corp Malaysia and Deloitte Malaysia, supported by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP).

The E50 Awards, renowned for over two decades as a respected platform for promoting Malaysia’s top MSMEs, recognise outstanding small and medium enterprises that exemplify excellence and innovation.

Ewon said KUSKOP and SME Corp are dedicated to advancing MSME development through initiatives that strengthen participation in domestic and global supply chains, enhance business capabilities, foster ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) integration and facilitate MSME listings on the capital market.

H and T Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd took first place at the awards, followed by Advantage Marine Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in second place, and Global Psytech Sdn Bhd in third.

Other top 10 winners included Avialite Sdn Bhd, Ventura IOT Sdn Bhd, OSD Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd, Techzilla Global Solution Sdn Bhd, Ligno Biotech Sdn Bhd, Maxvue Vision Sdn Bhd and Nasi Lemak Saleha Sdn Bhd.
