RNF MotoGP team partners with BP Healthcare

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 — The WithU Yamaha RNF MotoGP team, which is set for its debut season in Qatar, has received another sponsorship boost through a partnership with BP Healthcare Group to prioritise safety and health.

RNF Racing in a statement said the collaboration will provide the team members with general healthcare services including COVID-19 PCR tests during traveling around the globe for races, saliva test kits for consistent testing, face mask for protection and season-long health screenings.

Founder and Team Principal Datuk Razlan Razali said his team is very glad as the healthcare group came at the right time when the Omicron variant COVID-19 cases are increasing throughout the world ahead of the opening race at the Losail International Circuit this weekend.

“These two years have been challenging times to travel due to the pandemic and we always focus on the safety of the team members and our riders.

“I am pleased to welcome BP Healthcare, not only as a new Malaysian partner and a leading healthcare company, but also to know that we will be well cared for during our travels for the 2022 season. They will provide support, care and health necessities required to protect the team as we compete globally throughout the year,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, BP Healthcare executive director Garvy Beh said the company was delighted to collaborate with the world-renowned MotoGP racing, working alongside the incredible WithU Yamaha’s team.

“It is an honour to be the third Malaysian sponsor for the globally recognised MotoGP event to partner with this team. With the reopening of diverse industries and international events like sports and motor racing, we are glad to be able to contribute our healthcare services to ensure safety for everyone.

“As healthcare knows no boundaries, we aim to bring our products and services to as many people as possible globally. Hence, this partnership serves as an incredible platform for us to increase our international presence, which aligns with the goal of BP Healthcare Group and Doctor2U.”

BP Healthcare logo will be visible on the swing arm of Andrea Dovizioso and Darryn Binder’s bike, pit box and team trucks throughout this year season.
