POLICE CONFIRM SUSPECT IN NUR FARAH KARTINI’S MURDER CASE A POLICEMAN


SUNGAI BULOH, Police have confirmed that the main suspect in the murder investigation of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah who was found dead in Felda Gedangsa, Hulu Selangor, yesterday, is a policeman.

Selangor Police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the 26-year-old man, who is also the victim’s boyfriend, is still in service in Perak.

‘Yes, he is a policeman at a police station in Perak,’ he said when contacted.

Meanwhile, Perak Police chief Datuk Azizi Mat Aris also confirmed that the suspect is a lance corporal attached at the Slim River Police station.

Earlier, it was reported that a civil servant has been remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation into the murder case under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The body of Nur Farah Kartini 25, was found at about 6 pm yesterday in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor.

The employee of a rental car company in Tanjung Malim was reported missing after delivering a rental car to a customer last Wednesday.
