Pointstar, MPC Unveil DALIA 2.0 To Boost Productivity Via AI Solutions

KUALA LUMPUR, Cloud solution technology provider PointStar and Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) are continuing the successful Digital Acceleration for Learning and Industry Adoption (DALIA) initiative with the unveiling of the DALIA 2.0 programme at the recent Go Digital Summit: Gemini for Google Cloud Day 2024.

The DALIA programme, recognised as MPC’s flagship Productivity Step Up Programme, has mentored nearly 100 organisations in Malaysia to start their digitalisation journeys since its launch during Google Cloud Day last year.

PointStar has been appointed the primary technology consultant for the programme, which leverages Google Cloud’s Appsheet solutions — a no-code development platform.

In a joint statement, the partners said the DALIA 2.0 programme aims to assist even more companies this year, building on its past success.

‘DALIA 2.0 is launching a new step-up programme — the artificial intelligence (AI) Transformation Adoption Programme.

‘This programme will help each participating com
pany to implement AI and cloud solutions that will achieve a minimum of RM1 million productivity gain over three years,’ the statement said.

MPC deputy director general Dr Mohamad Norjayadi Tamam said the enhanced DALIA 2.0 programme would adopt the latest AI solutions from Google Cloud to serve as a powerful booster, enabling more businesses to streamline their processes and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

He expressed confidence that DALIA 2.0 would achieve even greater results than the first DALIA programme.

“MPC aspires to develop productivity model companies equipped with the latest technology, especially, fostering a growth mindset through the use of lean mechanisms to improve productivity.

‘This collaboration with Google Cloud Malaysia and PointStar will help us achieve that aspiration, as well as improve Malaysia’s competitiveness in global rankings,’ he said.
