PM requests launch of emulation drive to complete Long Thanh airport project


Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh examined the Long Thanh International Airport project in the southern province of Dong Nai on September 24, requesting the launch of a 450-day emulation campaign to basically complete this key facility by the end of 2025.

The Long Thanh airport project has a total investment of more than 16 billion USD and is implemented in three phases. The first phase, with an investment of over 5.4 billion USD, features one runway and one passenger terminal, and is capable of serving 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tonnes of cargo per year. It is expected to be put into use in 2026.
