PhilPost urges lovers to celebrate Valentine’s through ‘Padalove’

CEBU: Metro Cebu and Tagbilaran City residents who want to send flowers and gifts to their loved ones on Valentine’s Day can order at the nearest Philippine Postal Corp. (PhilPost) post offices, a postmaster here announced on Wednesday.

Rachel Betos, acting postmaster of the Cebu Central Post Office, said Philpost’s Express PadaLove Program enters its second year this month, after its launch last year to encourage Domestic Express Mail Service (DEMS) during the love month.

‘With our Express PadaLove Program, you can send gift items, bouquets, postcards to your loved ones. We have an inter-city delivery, but limited only in Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Talisay City,” Betos said in a forum.

Residents of Lapu-Lapu could send their flowers and gifts to Talisay and even up to Tagbilaran City, she said.

Those who would avail of the program may go to the post offices in the five highly urbanized cities in Central Visayas or may place their orders online and pay the transactions through GCash.

Pa
trons could choose Philpost’s special products for this month via Facebook, she added.

Philpost stations in Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Talisay, and Tagbilaran have begun processing orders and will end on Feb. 12, except for Cebu Central Post Office where orders can be placed even until Feb. 13.

The project caters to same-day/next-day delivery of flowers, chocolates, cakes, stuffed toys, cards, and other gift items during the week-long Valentine’s Day celebration.
