Perak’s Lethal Finishing Makes The Difference – Head Coach

TEMERLOH, Perak FC’s sharp finishing was the key to their 3-0 win over Sri Pahang FC in last night’s Super League match, according to head coach Yusri Che Lah.

“We started a bit slow, but credit to all the players for executing their roles well,’ he said.

“Every golden opportunity was turned into a goal, and our goalkeeper, Muhammad Haziq Nadzli, did an excellent job by stopping several dangerous attempts from the opponents,” Yusri said during a post-match press conference.

However, Yusri acknowledged that the team still need to address certain weaknesses to sustain their winning momentum.

“When playing against elite teams, there’s no room for lapses in concentration, as we saw tonight,” he added.

“After scoring the first goal, we allowed our opponents into our zone. The same thing happened after the second goal, and this can be dangerous,’ Yusri said.

Meanwhile, Sri Pahang coach Fandi Ahmad highlighted the absence of several key players due to injury.

“We really missed players like Aleksandar Cvetkovic, Stefano Brundo and Muhammad Syazwan Andik.

“Their absence weakened our midfield and defence. Without them, we easily lost focus and left gaps for our opponents to exploit,” he said.
