Pahang Govt Allocates Over RM10 Million For I-PUSH Phase 3 – MB

The Pahang government is continuing its Micro Entrepreneur Financing Scheme (I-PUSH) Phase 3, involving an allocation of over RM10 million, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

He said that this initiative is part of a continuous effort to provide micro-entrepreneurs with opportunities to expand their businesses and secure better opportunities.

Recognising the need to boost entrepreneurial capacity, the I-PUSH initiative has been extended, receiving a total of 1,988 applications, all of which have been meticulously screened.

‘For Phase 3 of I-PUSH, 1,132 entrepreneurs who meet the criteria will be approved for funding, with a total amount of RM10,495,300 allocated by the state government,’ he said in a media statement today.

The financing will be distributed through Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, with all fund disbursements expected to be completed by mid-August 2024 at the latest.

Meanwhile, he said that monitoring actions, including field visits and reviews, will commence to evaluate th
e effectiveness of the initiatives and assess the potential of entrepreneurs. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the development of entrepreneurs and businesses across the state.

‘I hope entrepreneurs will leverage the interest-free financing incentives provided to boost their production capacity and improve their products and services,’ he said.

Wan Rosdy added that the first two phases of the I-PUSH initiative, which began in 2022, have already benefited 2,293 entrepreneurs, with a total funding amount exceeding RM20 million.
