Over P1.3-M shabu seized in Negros Oriental buy-bust


Police operatives arrested a ‘high-profile’ suspect and seized close to PHP 1.4 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Sibulan, Negros Oriental early Friday.

Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO), identified the suspect as alias Jingle, male, 36, single, and a resident of Burgos St., Poblacion 2, in Siaton town.

The suspect allegedly sold illegal drugs to undercover operatives at Purok 6 in Barangay Maslog, Sibulan, resulting in the confiscation of more or less 205 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP 1.394 million.

He is now detained as illegal drug charges are being readied against him.
