Number Of Flood Evacuees Drops In Selangor, Perak


KUALA LUMPUR, The situation in flood-hit districts in Perak and Selangor continued to improve, with 465 people remaining at relief centres as at 9 am today compared to 498 yesterday.

According to the InfoBencanaJKM website, a total of 354 evacuees from 102 families were at five relief centres in Hilir Perak, Perak Tengah, and Kerian in PERAK.

In SELANGOR, 111 evacuees from 41 families were at three relief centres in two districts, namely Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor.

Meanwhile, according to the Public Infobanjir website, the levels of two rivers at Marudi station and Sungai Dausan in Sarawak were at danger points.
