NSC Megastealth Exercise At Perdana Putra Building This Saturday


PUTRAJAYA, The public is advised to remain calm with the presence of helicopters and the sound of explosions in the vicinity of the Bangunan Perdana Putra Building this Saturday (Oct 19) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A statement issued by the National Security Council (NSC) of the Prime Minister’s Department today stated that the National Security Training: Megastealth Exercise 2024 will be held from 8 am to 2 pm on that day.

The exercise is designed to test the evacuation process and security preparedness of the building, it said.

According to NSC, the exercise will involve four helicopters – two each from the Royal Malaysian Air Force and the Royal Malaysia Police – with boats from the Putrajaya Marine Police and Putrajaya Corporation.

Explosives and smoke bombs will also be used during the exercise, it said.
