KUALA LUMPUR, Maxis captivated audiences at this year’s National Day parade with 107 employees proudly showcasing the company’s dedication to uniting Malaysians through connectivity and technology, it said in a statement.

Maxis said the sea of green and blue was made even more exciting by the return of the fan favourite Dinocorn, featuring four life-sized mascots and a larger version saluting the crowd as part of its National Day procession.

“Accompanied by vibrant balloons and floats, the contingent highlighted Maxis’ capabilities of providing fast, reliable, and secure connectivity through 5G mobile and fibre broadband for learning, entertainment, and productivity.

“Just as this year’s National Day theme, Jiwa Merdeka, honours the unity of different cultures and communities, Maxis is committed to connecting people and businesses of all backgrounds to a world of possibilities wherever they are,” the statement read.

Maxis also launched its National Day brand film ‘Budi Pekerti,’ inspired by the true stor
y of a simple yet impactful act of patriotism of a teenager named Aiman, who helps clean up after the Merdeka countdown.

“His actions sparked a positive ripple effect, inspiring others to join in, reminding us that consistent small actions can deliver meaningful change and that these gestures truly embody the heart of our nation,” said the statement, adding that ‘Budi Pekerti’ can be viewed on Maxis main Youtube channel.
