MINI MALAYSIA LAUNCHES 4 VARIANT MODELS WITH PRICES STARTING FROM RM193,888

MINI Malaysia, a brand under BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd, has launched four new variants under the New MINI Family lineup, with a starting price of RM193,888 for a unit.

The compact premium automotive brand said the new line-up features two fully electrified models, with the new all-electric MINI Cooper SE making its first appearance in Malaysia.

Alongside the Cooper SE, the three new models, namely the MINI Countryman SE ALL4, MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4, and MINI Cooper S, were previewed during the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 in May.

BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Benjamin Nagel said the launch of the New MINI Family will show the wide range of products offered by MINI.

“The products are growing. We have the MINI Cooper and now the MINI Countryman, and it is getting wider and would appeal more to Malaysian customers.

“The company’s growth paths will continue with its product offering and the extended range, catering to all the needs from a petrol engine to a full electric vehicle,” he told repo
rters here today.

Meanwhile, vice-president of MINI Region Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Florian Kuenstner said the introduction of the new lineup serves as momentum for the company moving forward locally and globally in the years to come.

Kuenstner noted that last year, MINI had successfully sold more than 295,000 units globally.

In Malaysia, more than 1,750 units were sold in 2023, projecting an impressive growth of 42 per cent year-on-year, he said.

The New MINI Family lineup is available beginning today, and customers can pre-book through MINI Malaysia authorised dealers in the country.
