For the media and state government agencies/Bernama categories, the stakes are equally high, with the top teams each set to win RM5,000 in cash.
Melaka Explorace, organised by the Melaka state government in collaboration with the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), is one of the thrilling events taking place in conjunction with Visit Melaka Year 2024 (TMM2024).
In a statement today, Bernama said the registration deadline for this event has been extended until Sept 27, allowing even more treasure hunt enthusiasts to join the race.

The entry fee fo
r the Open Category is RM200 per team, with groups of two to four people allowed. The media and state government agencies/Bernama categories are also open, with an entry fee of RM100 per team.
With the theme “Mana Lagi, Melaka Ler!”, this explorace will take participants on a journey through Melaka’s rich history and vibrant heritage across its three districts – Melaka Tengah, Alor Gajah and Jasin. The hunt includes activities on foot, by car, trishaw, and even boat (river cruise), offering a unique experience of the state’s scenic beauty and iconic landmarks.
As an added twist, participants must upload selected photos and videos of their adventures on social media, which will boost their chances of winning the competition.
The excitement culminates on Oct 6 with a prize-giving ceremony, where participants dressed in traditional costumes reflecting Melaka’s diverse culture will also stand a chance to win amazing prizes.
