KTMB: Additional Raya, Labour Day train tickets to go on sale from tomorrow

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will provide four additional electric train services (ETS) in conjunction with this year’s Aidilfitri and Labour Day.

In a statement, KTMB said its additional train services involve two routes for KL Sentral-Padang Besar-KL Sentral as well as two more for KL Sentral-Butterworth-KL Sentral. These additional train tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 10 am.

The additional services offer 1,260 tickets per day, with a total number of tickets at 13,860 including business class coaches during the period.

Operations for the additional ETS for both routes will be from April 19 to 25 involving 14 services with each offering 4,410 tickets.

“Meanwhile, the additional train services for Labour Day will involve 16 services, from April 28 to May 1, with a total of 5,040 tickets,” said the KTMB statement, tonight.

KTMB said the departure times for the additional ETS schedule on April 19 for the KL Sentral to Padang Besar route is at 11 am (Padang Besar-KL Sentral) and 5.05 pm (KL Sentral-Padang Besar), while the departure times for the KL Sentral to Butterworth route is at 11.40 am (Butterworth-KL Sentral) and 4.40 pm (KL Sentral-Butterworth).
