KPJ Healthcare Unveils New Brand Identity, Signifying New Chapter

KUALA LUMPUR, KPJ Healthcare Berhad has unveiled its new brand identity, intensifying its push for patient-centricity as the foundation for an exponential growth and competitive edge in the dynamically evolving healthcare landscape.

KPJ Healthcare Berhad chairman Tan Sri Dr Ismail Bakar said the company have successfully evolved into Malaysia’s largest hospital network, operating 29 hospitals currently with its 30th hospital in Kuala Selangor slated for opening early next year.

‘At the core of this rebranding initiative is our stronger emphasis on patient-centricity by concentrating on providing the best service to our patients, fostering a high-performance culture for our staff, creating a dynamic environment for our physicians, and championing sustainable actions for the betterment of our planet,’ he said at the rebranding event, themed ‘Celebration of Our Care for Life Journey’ here today.

Also present were Health Ministry deputy secretary-general (Finance) Datuk Seri Norazman Ayob, Johor Corporation’s
president and chief executive officer Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim and KPJ Healthcare Berhad president and managing director Chin Keat Chyuan.

According to Dr Ismail, KPJ Healthcare will be introducing a seamless digital experience for our patients through our website and soon-to-be-launched mobile app.

‘As part of our rebranding launch and in celebration of Merdeka month, we are also pleased to announce an exclusive package – 67 diagnostic tests for RM67, available at all KPJ Specialist Hospitals nationwide until 30 September 2024,’ he said.

Meanwhile, Syed Mohamed in his speech said, KPJ’s new logo is a symbol of rebirth, a renewed pledge to the mission of Care for Life as well as representing the company’s steadfast dedication to placing patients at the heart of everything it does.

‘As we unveil the new logo today, we are not just introducing a refreshed visual identity; we are heralding a new era of innovation and commitment.

‘Actions towards becoming a healthcare provider that is accessible, resi
lient, innovative, and sustainable, all in the name of patient-centricity, must happen now to achieve what KPJ envisions for its future in 2035. By then KPJ should be known as a rising Global Digital Healthcare Giant with recognition within the most prestigious industry forums and medical circles,’ he said.

Chin, on the other hand, said the new brand identity adopts a more contemporary look, symboliseing unity, commitment, love and community.

‘The rebranding is a symbol of KPJ’s transformation and progress as we accelerate our efforts to deliver an improved healthcare experience driven by technology and innovation. The rebranding exercise goes hand-in-hand with enhancement of our service delivery to all stakeholders,’ said Chin.
