KLIMS 2024: SHOWCASING THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY AND INNOVATION


KUALA LUMPUR, The 10th edition of the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) will be held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from Dec 5 to 11.

Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) president Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain said the future of mobility and innovation in Malaysia’s automotive industry, which is experiencing growth as consumers shift towards electric vehicles (EVs), would be showcased during the event.

KLIMS 2024 also aims to explore new avenues for enhancing the capabilities of the automotive ecosystem in alignment with the National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2020, in partnership with the Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), to enhance the capabilities of all automotive stakeholders, he added.

‘With the theme – Beyond Mobility, which emphasises sustainability, electrification and autonomous driving – KLIMS 2024 continues to showcase the latest innovations and technological advancements in the automotive industry.

her industry leaders, global brands, and enthusiasts at KLIMS to shape the future of mobility and innovation,’ he said in a statement today, adding that the event was an excellent platform for mobility industry players to exhibit their latest products, innovations, and technologies.

Car brands such as Perodua, Proton, Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, KIA, Mazda and Kawasaki have confirmed their participation, he said, with additional brands to be announced closer to the event.

KLIMS 2024 is supported by the Motorcycle and Scooter Assemblers and Distributors Association of Malaysia, the Automotive Federation Malaysia, and the Malaysian Automotive Component Parts Manufacturers Association and companies such as Carsome, Big Onion and Motonation have signed on as event partners, Mohd Shamsor added.

For those interested, KLIMS 2024 will be open from 10 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 10 pm on weekends, with tickets available for purchase at www.klims.com.my.
