Keyfield International Unit Bags RM130.03 Mln Contracts From Petronas Carigali


KUALA LUMPUR, Keyfield International Bhd’s (KIB) wholly owned subsidiary, Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd (KOSB), has accepted Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd’s eight work order awards (WOA) totalling approximately RM130.03 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the WOAs were issued between June and August 2024 to provide six accommodation workboats and two anchor-handling tug and supply vessels for Petronas Carigali’s offshore activities.

The scope of work involved is ‘as per the provisions under the panel contractor contract for offshore support vessel services for petroleum arrangement contractors, dated April 9, 2024, executed between Petronas Carigali and KOSB,” the group said.

The filing said the eight WOAs have a duration of between 91 and 153 days from the commencement date on the on-hire certificates. The work is to be carried out in the second half of 2024.

“The WOAs are expected to contribute positively to KIB group earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024
,” it added.
