Kelantan Sultan Extends Aid To Family Of Tiger Attack Victim


KUALA KRAI, The Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, has extended assistance to the family of Adnan Ismail, 54, who was killed in a tiger attack in Gerik, Perak, on Tuesday.

The contribution was delivered by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud, who visited the victim’s family home in Kampung Ngangah here today.

Mohd Nassuruddin also presented cash and essential supplies from the state government through the Serambi Mekah Fund.

The victim’s wife, Roslayti Sulaiman, 48, expressed her deep appreciation to the Sultan and the state government for their kindness and concern.

‘Alhamdulillah, this aid will help ease the burden on our family as we still have three school-going children,’ she told Bernama.

Adnan’s remains were laid to rest at the Kampung Kenor Muslim Cemetery last night after a post-mortem was conducted at the Taiping Hospital, Perak.
