KDN FC Complete Signing Of Brazilian Striker Washington


KOTA BHARU, Kelantan Darul Naim FC (KDN FC) has acquired the services of imported striker Washington Brandao from Brazil to strengthen the attack in this season’s Malaysian Super League action.

The import concerns the transfer of the second player at the moment to replace the previous import striker Valdumar Augusto who ended his contract with the team.

‘He (Washington Brandao) is 34 years old and has experience playing in the Danish League, in Indonesia and Vietnam in addition to having played in the M-League for two seasons with PJ City FC before the club was disbanded.

‘Before joining Kelantan Darul Naim FC, Washington Brandao played with Abahani United FC in the Bangladesh Premier League,’ he said in a statement today.

Rozi said with the signing of the player, the club has completed the list of imported players at the second transfer window of the Super League competition this season

He added that KDN FC had also secured the services of two other new import players namely Layth Kharoub from Palestin
e and Aung Kaung Mann from Myanmar, both strikers.

‘We have brought in three local players namely Muhaimin Izzudin and Fikri Che Soh on a permanent basis in addition to borrowing Terengganu FC player Hakimi Abdullah .

‘We hope that with the inclusion of these players, we can change the team’s playing style and thus help change the team’s position in the Super League table.

He said at the moment, KDN FC is at the bottom of the Super League with only three points. one win after nine games played.
