‘JOM BELI PRODUK HIJAU’ CAMPAIGN PROMOTES MALAYSIAN ECO-PRODUCTS

In a bid to promote the purchase of green products, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC) will hold a “Jom Beli Produk Hijau” campaign from this month (September) to December.

The NRECC, in a statement today, said the initiative was a joint effort between the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) and prominent e-commerce marketplace Shopee Malaysia by leveraging the digital landscape to reach a broader audience.

The campaign will feature certified green products under the MyHIJAU Mark recognition scheme and other green verified labels, including household items like detergents, paints, packaging products, kitchen utensils and paper.

The “Jom Beli Produk Hijau” campaign offers RM5 vouchers for a total purchase of RM20 and RM20 vouchers for a total purchase of RM50 for all green items, it said.
