Indian national survives ambush in Maguindanao Sur


Cotabato: An Indian national involved in the money lending business survived an ambush by unidentified attackers on Thursday along the national highway in Maguindanao del Sur.

The victim, who sustained just minor injuries, was attacked while driving along Barangay Labu-Labu in Datu Hoffer Ampatuan town.

Despite a gunshot to the elbow, he managed to drive to nearby Barangay Kauran, where soldiers rescued him and took him to a hospital.

Authorities are still investigating, and the victim has yet to provide details about his attackers.
