Gamuda Engineering Secures RM451.4 Million Contract for Cyberjaya Data Centre Construction.


KUALA LUMPUR: Gamuda Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, has successfully secured a significant contract valued at RM451.4 million from BCEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd for the construction of a data centre in the rapidly developing area of Cyberjaya.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the official filing with Bursa Malaysia outlines that the contract encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, specifically foundation, civil, structural, and architectural (FCSA) works. The commencement of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024, with an anticipated completion date in the first quarter of 2026.

Gamuda, a prominent player in the engineering, property, and infrastructure sectors, emphasized that this contract is anticipated to positively impact the group’s revenue and earnings for the financial year ending July 31, 2025, continuing through to the conclusion of the FCSA works.
