FM Mohamad congratulates Terry on new role at No.10 Downing Street

KUALA LUMPUR, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan congratulated British High Commissioner Alisa Terry on her new appointment as the UK Prime Minister’s Private Secretary for Foreign Affairs.

The message was conveyed by Mohamad when he received a farewell call from Terry at his office on Wednesday, according to Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry on its Facebook page.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the long-standing bilateral relations between Malaysia and the UK.

In her new role, Terry will advise Prime Minister Keir Starmer on foreign policy issues and work closely with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in London.

Terry, who began her stint in Malaysia in August last year, will officially assume her new duties at No.10 Downing Street early next month.
