FBM KLCI Futures Rise, Tracking Cash Market Gains

KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives rose this morning, following gains in the underlying cash market.

As of 10.07 am, August 2024 and September 2024 contracts advanced 16.5 points each to 1,610 and 1,592, respectively.

The December 2024 contract added 15 points to 1,596, while March 2024 contract climbed 16 points to 1,583.

Turnover was 3,745 lots, with open interest at 43,770 contracts.

At 10.29 am, the FBM KLCI index was up 8.34 points at 1,604.39, compared to Friday’s close of 1,596.05.
