FBM KLCI futures finish mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 (Bernama) — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives settled mixed today.

At the close, March 2023 increased half a point to 1,427.0, the newly-introduced contract month April 2023 stood at 1,427.5, June 2023 was untraded at 1,428.0, and September 2023 was 1.0 point higher at 1,420.0.

Turnover rose to 9,752 lots from 8,091 lots on Wednesday while open interest widened to 39,614 contracts from 37,248 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the benchmark FBM KLCI climbed 5.29 points to 1,456.73 compared with Wednesday’s closing of 1,450.20.
