FBM KLCI Futures End Mostly Higher.


KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher today. Spot month November 2024 rose 15.5 points to 1,619.0, while December 2024 saw a minor decline of 0.5 of a point to 1,621.5. March 2025 increased by 14.5 points to reach 1,610.0, and June 2025 surged by 18.5 points to end at 1,613.5.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover for the day climbed significantly to 9,047 lots, up from 5,866 lots on Friday. Open interest also saw an increase, rising to 45,982 contracts from the previous 42,202 contracts. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself gained 12.45 points, closing at 1,616.43, compared with Friday’s closing value of 1,603.98.
