Exciting Activities Await Visitors At madani Rakyat Sayangi Sabah Programme

KOTA KINABALU, The MADANI Rakyat 2024 Sayangi Sabah programme, set to take place at the Likas Sports Complex from Friday to Sunday, promises a variety of exciting and beneficial activities for visitors of all age groups.

Sabah Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) chief enforcement officer Zulfamy Mat Udi said the event would feature 215 public service touchpoints, 28 cost-of-living assistance services and 18 youth-centred activities.

‘We are bringing the MADANI government services directly to the people, with booths like KPDN’s where visitors can engage with us and provide feedback to help improve our services.

‘The programme will also offer up to 50 per cent discount on traffic summonses and a helmet exchange initiative for the first 5,000 visitors who present their identification card along with an old helmet without the Sirim label,’ he said during a radio interview on Sembang Ekspresi Sabah FM today.

The three-day event will also feature Rahmah Sales with discounts of 10 to 30 per cent, a
s well as the Agro MADANI sales.

‘E-commerce companies such as TikTok and Shopee will be conducting pocket talks, where entrepreneurs can learn promotional techniques and receive expert advice,’ he said.

Zulfamy further said that a career carnival would be held as part of the event, with 14 employers offering around 4,000 job opportunities.

Other highlights include security asset exhibitions, e-sports, health services including blood tests, diabetes screenings and dental care, a buy Malaysian products campaign and food sales.

A concert featuring performances by artistes such as Azharina, K Clique, Masmona and Faradhiya is also set to enliven the programme.

Over 400,000 visitors are expected to attend the MADANI Rakyat 2024 Sayangi Sabah programme, organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) with KPDN as the coordinating ministry.
