EMCO in Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Boh in Pahang beginning Thursday – MKN

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 — Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Boh, Pos Mensom, in Mukim Ulu Telim, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Thursday to Oct 13, according to the National Security Council (MKN).

Director-General of National Security, MKN, Datuk Rodzi Md Saad, said in a Facebook post the decision was made after taking into consideration a Health Ministry feedback on the risk assessment and COVID-19 infection trend in that locality.

He also said that the EMCO in Kampung Tementong, Mukim Cheka 1, Lipis, Pahang, which was scheduled to end tomorrow has been extended to Oct 13.

The EMCO in eight localities in Sabah, Kelantan and Pahang will end tomorrow as scheduled, he said.

The five localities in Sabah are Kampung Kirangawan (Darat and Tengah) and Kampung Pinatau in Kota Marudu; Kampung Nuntunan Apin-Apin in Keningau; Kampung Lungkidau in Ranau and Perumahan Pekerja Ladang Boustead Ruku-Ruku in Telupid.

The locality in Kelantan is Kampung Bahagia in Mukim Batu Mengkebang, Kuala Krai, while the two localities in Pahang are Kampung Badong Dalam and Kampung Permatang Durian in Mukim Bebar, Pekan.
