Digital Ministry Seeks Leaders For National Artificial Intelligence Office

PUTRAJAYA, The Ministry of Digital is inviting qualified individuals to apply for key leadership positions in the newly established National Artificial Intelligence Office (NAIO).

This office will serve as the central authority for advancing Malaysia’s artificial intelligence (AI) agenda and enhancing the nation’s influence in the regional digital landscape.

Available positions include chief executive officer, director of the AI Policy Lab and director of the AI Innovation Exchange.

Minister Gobind Singh Deo said suitable candidates will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of AI in Malaysia and lead initiatives to establish the country as a regional AI leader.

‘AI is a critical enabler for Malaysia’s future, and we seek dynamic leaders ready to contribute to national and regional progress,’ he said in a statement today.

The vacancies have been advertised since Sept 30, with the application deadline set for Oct 11.
