Defence Service Asia 2022, NATSEC Asia 2022 preparations almost 40 pct complete – Nadzeem

KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) — Preparations for the Defence Service Asia (DSA) 2022 and the National Security (NATSEC) Asia 2022 exhibitions that will take place from March 28 to 31 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here are now 40 per cent complete.

DA executive director Nadzeem Abdul Rahman said currently exhibition booths and equipment for local and international defence industry exhibitors were being prepared and built based on each company’s own design.

“The exhibition booths are not set by DSA, each company can choose their own design and pattern as well as their exhibition materials,” he told Bernama after checking out the exhibition’s preparation at MITEC here.

Nadzeem said exhibition assets including tanks, armoured personnel carriers and weapons have arrived at their respective booths.

“Alhamdulillah, the progress of the exhibition’s preparations are going smoothly and is expected to be complete by this Saturday evening. More exhibition material will come in tomorrow. There are some international exhibitors who have yet to arrive. Usually they will arrive during the weekend,” he said.

In addition, the exhibition will be equipped with virual platforms as value added components to help participants access content before, during and after the exhibition, which will involve over 1,000 companies from 54 countries.

DSA 2022 and NATSEC Asia 2022 is open to high level delegations, government staff and defence and security industry executives as well as police and enforcement agencies only.
