Cuc Phuong National Park receives rare, endangered animals


The Centre for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Creatures under the Cuc Phuong National Park has received many endangered and rare animals from several northern provinces and cities.

The animals included two white-rumped sandpipers (Anthracoceros albirostris), five toothed turtles and one long-tailed macaque.

All of these animals belong to IIB group in the list of endangered and rare species priorised for protection under the Government’s Decree 84/2021/ND-CP. They are being cared for and rehabilitated at the centre before being released back to nature.
