Business Matching Session For Msmes At Southern Zone Madani Rakyat Programme

KUALA LUMPUR, The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), through SME Corp Malaysia, will hold a business matching session at the the Southern Zone MADANI Rakyat 2024 programme, which will be held at Dataran UTM, Skudai, Johor Bahru, from Aug 15 to 17.

Its Deputy Minister Datuk R. Ramanan said the session will provide micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the opportunity to expand their product and service markets through meetings with supermarket representatives, wholesalers, and e-commerce platforms.

He said that entrepreneurs wishing to participate are encouraged to bring along samples of their products.

‘KUSKOP will also set up a booth to offer services and guidance to visitors. I call on people from all walks of life in the southern zone to attend MADANI Rakyat 2024 programme,’ he said in a statement to Bernama.

Among the various programmes and activities available at the KUSKOP booth are consultations on entrepreneurship and cooperatives, advocacy training, inform
ation on grants and funding from KUSKOP agencies, MSME status registration by SME Corp, and MyMall Entrepreneur registration.

The Southern Zone MADANI Rakyat 2024 programme, which includes Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka, is organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through PACU, with the strategic cooperation of the Economy Ministry and the Johor government.

It is a continuation of the MADANI Government One Year Anniversary programme held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in December 2023.

The programme has been extended to the state level by zones to give local communities the opportunity to understand and evaluate the policies and initiatives implemented by the MADANI Government.
