Burnt Body Of Man Found Near Serdang KTM Station


KUALA LUMPUR, The body of a man with burn marks was found near the Serdang Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) station here today.

Serdang district police chief ACP AA Anbalagan said that based on documents found at the scene, the deceased was identified as a 43-year-old Indonesian man named Udikalifan.

“Police received a report at 11.45 am today regarding the discovery of the body by a local woman in the bushes after the U-turn tunnel near the Serdang KTM station.

“Upon arrival at the location, police found that the body was burnt but not completely charred,” he said in a statement here.

The body has been sent to hospital for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.

“Police are also working to confirm the identity of the man. Anyone with information on missing persons is urged to go to the nearest police station to assist in the investigation,” he added.
