Ambassador Shazryll Expresses Hope Malaysia-Bahrain Diplomatic Ties Will Remain Strong

KUALA LUMPUR, The Malaysian ambassador to Bahrain, Shazryll Zahiran, expressed his hope of strengthening the diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Bahrain, which are currently at the highest level.

Shazryll said during the coronation ceremony of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, the King of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Isa Al Khalifa, was one of the two foreign royal guests invited alongside Sultan of Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.

He said this in his speech at the 2024 National Day Reception organised by the Malaysian embassy in Manama, Bahrain.

Also present was the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, Dr Isa Nasser Al Nuaimi.

Isa, in his speech, expressed the closeness of Bahrain and Malaysia over the years. He also shared the same aspiration that bilateral diplomatic relations will continue to be strengthened for the good and development of both countries.

In a statement, the Malaysian embassy in Manama said a total of 350 guests had attended the 2024 National Day R
eception.

The guests consisted of Bahraini parliamentarians, senior government officials, foreign ambassadors, representatives of prominent Bahraini companies, strategic partners of the Malaysian embassy and Malaysians residing in Bahrain.

The ceremony is not only meaningful in enlivening the celebration of National Day and Malaysia Day for 2024, but it was also an important celebration for Malaysia and Bahrain, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year.
