Allianz Malaysia chief executive officer Sean Wang said that One Allianz is a key initiative the company embarked on to achieve greater synergy between Allianz General and Allianz Life, with its first branch in Melaka transformed into its flagship One Allianz centre in 2022.

The initiative aimed at streamlining its general insurance and life insurance customer service under one roof to provide customers with further flexibility in choosing their insurance solutions, and they are now able to seamlessly navigate between their life and general insurance policies at any of these branches.

“Today, our customers can walk into any branch across the country or get in touch with our Allianz Contact Centre to enquire about any of our products.

‘At Allianz Malaysia, we have nearly 3.6 million customers, meaning there is huge opportunity to cross-sell our products. I mu
st thank the agency team who worked relentlessly to grow our customer base,” he said when met by reporters after One Allianz Ipoh Branch celebration here today.

He shared that currently, there were 595,000 customers that have purchased life insurance products under Allianz Life, three million others have purchased their Allianz General products and 126,000 are One Allianz customers who have purchased at least one from each as of July this year.
