ACER MALAYSIA LAUNCHES TRAVELMATE AI LAPTOPS FOR ENHANCED PRODUCTIVITY


KUALA LUMPUR, Acer Malaysia today launched the TravelMate laptop series which are equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to boost productivity while maintaining enhanced performance for professionals and businesses.

The laptops, namely Acer TravelMate P6 14, TravelMate P4 14, TravelMate P4 Spin 14, and TravelMate P2 14 are also incorporated with the TravelMate Sense feature which serves as a comprehensive command centre to monitor and optimise their devices to suit productivity requirements.

Acer Malaysia general manager of products, sales and marketing Chan Weng Hong said the series have commercial features that stand out compared to other brands, whereby it also focuses on the security and privacy of the commercial users.

“Since AI is developing very fast, a lot of the softwares in the market are not completely certified, and people are worried about the security.

“We emphasise this to ensure there is privacy security (so that) the compatibility of the new software development
would work properly with the device, so the commerical users would roll out the applications without any worries,” he told Bernama after launching the Acer TravelMate series here, today.

Chan also said the company’s upcoming products would be also equipped with advanced technology such as AI as these features have a lot of things to offer.

“We are very excited about AI development as we have only just touched the tip of the iceberg.There are so much that AI can accomplish. It acts like an assistant to increase your work productivity and helps to function better, ” he said.

The Acer TravelMate P6 14 is priced at RM7,999 and RM7,599 for non-touchable screen option, while Acer TravelMate Spin P414 costs RM6,199, Acer TravelMate P4 14 (RM4,799), and the TravelMate P2 14 is priced from RM3,799 to RM4,799.
