Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) intercepted a parcel containing some PHP45.9 million worth of illegal drugs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) complex in Pasay City. Based on its initial report, the PDEA said its operatives together with NAIA-Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (IADITG) seized an abandoned parcel containing 6,750 grams of suspected shabu in peanut foil packs at the Pairpaggs Center inside the airport complex shortly before noon on Wednesday. The PDEA said the parcel with airway bill number 176-57120103 declared as “African Cultura” was shipped by a certain Michael Mobida from Johannesburg, South Africa and is consigned to a certain Wilbert Dee.
