15 Countries To Participate In Malaysia International Tourism Expo Pahang 2024

KUANTAN, Fifteen countries will participate in the Malaysia International Tourism Expo Pahang 2024 (MIT Pahang 2024) set to take place over three days starting Oct 8.

State Unity, Tourism, and Culture Committee chairman Leong Yu Man, said with Malaysia as the host, the expo is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors and will include participants from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), South Korea, Russia, Kenya, Turkey, Taiwan, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.

Leong added that over 80 foreign travel agencies have expressed interest and confirmed their attendance at the tourism conference and the “Business to Business” (B2B) sessions.

‘In addition, nearly 200 industry stakeholders, both domestic and international, have agreed to take part at this inaugural tourism expo in Kuantan,’ he said in a statement today.

Elaborating, he said the event provides an excellent platform for tourism industry players to exchange ideas and explore trade opportunities.

oreover, it offers extensive prospects in economic, cultural and strategic tourism dimensions on a global scale, while encouraging industry players to appreciate and preserve the cultural and ecological heritage of the region as a premium tourism product,” he added.

The expo will be held at the Sultan Ahmad Shah International Convention Centre (SASICC) in Kuantan. It will be open to the public on the final day, Oct 10, from 10 am to 6 pm in the Exhibition Hall.
