YXPM GETS SC NOD FOR TRANSFER TO MAIN MARKET


KUALA LUMPUR, YX Precious Metals Bhd (YXPM) has secured approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for its transfer to the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

This important achievement is a reflection of its strong financial performance, commitment to growth, and support of its shareholders and stakeholders, YXPM said in a statement today.

‘Moving to the Main Market aligns with YXPM’s strategy to enhance its profile and attract a broader range of investors,’ it said.

The group said that since its listing on the ACE Market, YXPM has consistently grown and strengthened its market position, and the transition to the Main Market will provide the group with increased visibility and recognition, helping to access new growth opportunities.

Managing director Ng Sheau Chyn said this milestone reflects the hard work of the team and its commitment to delivering value to the stakeholders.

‘We look forward to leveraging new opportunities and driving our growth strategy forward,’ she said.

For the financial
year ended Dec 31, 2023, the group booked a net profit of RM9.0 million and revenue of RM239.8 million.

YXPM is principally involved in wholesaling, design and manufacturing of gold jewellery.

The counter closed flat at 26.5 sen today, with 628,000 shares changing hands.
