YSIJ Donates 111 Smart Televisions To Schools In Johor

JOHOR BAHRU, The Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) has donated 111 smart televisions to selected schools in the state.

This was announced through a post on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, with several photos of the event shared on the social media platform.

YSIJ Trustee Datuk Avinderjit Singh said the foundation, actively involved in community activities, was always attentive to the needs of all segments of society, including the education sector, to support teaching and learning requirements.

“With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, YSIJ will donate an additional 100 smart televisions to schools across Johor,” he said after the handover ceremony at SK Peserai, Batu Pahat, today.

According to the post, besides Batu Pahat, a similar donation event was held at SK Sri Tangkak, officiated by YSIJ chief executive officer Mohd Anizam Jamian.

The contribution was handed over to the Johor State Education Department’s (JPNJ) Principal Assistant Director of School Managemen
t, Jamaludin Zakaria.

Meanwhile, the smart television handover ceremony at SMK Pengerang Utama, Kota Tinggi, held yesterday, was also attended by State Education and Information Committee chairman Aznan Tamin and JPNJ director Mohd Hanafi Samad.

In his speech, Aznan expressed his gratitude to YSIJ for the contribution, which would help facilitate more interactive teaching and learning in schools.
