Vietnam National Day marked in Egypt


The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt has held a ceremony to mark the 79th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – 2024). The August 19 event (local time) saw the attendance of Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asia-Pacific; General Secretary of the Egyptian Communist Party Salah Adly Abdelhafiz; Secretary-General of the Egyptian Socialist Party Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Shaaban; representatives of several Egyptian ministries and agencies, many foreign ambassadors and diplomats in Cairo; international friends; and overseas Vietnamese in Egypt.
