Two Motorcycles Await Lucky Participants At Melaka Explorace 2024

MELAKA, Two motorcycles will be up for grabs for participants in the Melaka Explorace 2024 treasure hunt on Oct 5 and 6, said Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.

He said these prizes will be offered in the lucky draw held during the prize-giving ceremony on Oct 6.

“Apart from motorcycles, various other attractive prizes including electrical items will be up for grabs in the lucky draw,” he told Bernama at Seri Negeri here today.

Melaka Explorace 2024 offers a cash prize of RM10,000 for the top team in the Open category, while RM5,000 each will go to the winners of the Media and Melaka State Government Agencies/Bernama categories.

Melaka Explorace 2024 is organised by the Melaka state government in collaboration with the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) in conjunction with Visit Melaka Year 2024 (TMM2024).

The registration fee for the Open category is RM200 per team, consisting of two
to four people, while the fee for the Media category and the Melaka State Government Agencies/Bernama category is RM100 per team.

Themed ‘Mana Lagi? Melaka Ler!’, Melaka Explorace will take participants on a journey to explore the beauty and cultural uniqueness of Melaka across the three districts of Melaka Tengah, Alor Gajah and Jasin. Activities will include treasure hunts on foot, by vehicle, and also by trishaw and boat (river cruise).

Participants will also need to upload selected interesting photos and videos on social media throughout the Explorace as added value for them to win the competition.

Participants will also have the chance to win prizes through a traditional costume contest that reflects the diversity of Melaka’s community,
