Top leader lauds outgoing Sri Lankan Ambassador’s contributions to bilateral ties


Party General Secretary and President To Lam has commended outgoing Sri Lankan Ambassador to Vietnam Sajeewa Umanga Mendis for his pivotal role in developing the bilateral ties during his tenure of office. At a reception in Hanoi on August 23 for the diplomat, the top leader said Vietnam always values its traditional friendship with Sri Lanka that spans nearly 55 years of diplomatic relations.
