Todak Academy, Kelas Digital Ink MoU To Drive Digital Education In Southeast Asia


JAKARTA, Todak Academy Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian academy specialising in gaming and creative education, has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kelas Digital, an Indonesian education application to advance digital education.

They will focus on fostering innovation and collaboration in the region’s growing creative and gaming sectors.

The MOU, signed on Wednesday at the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta, formalises the two institutions’ commitment to work together on research and development in digital creative education, combining Todak Academy’s expertise in animation, game development, and esports with Kelas Digital’s cutting-edge mobile learning platform.

The signing was witnessed by key officials, including the embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission Farzamie Sarkawi, and Director of Education Malaysia Indonesia Dr Hasnul Faizal Hushin Amri.

Todak Academy chief executive officer Mohamad Taufik Rizal Aminuddin in a statement expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that “it will significantly acce
lerate our vision to push the boundaries of conventional education and embrace new methodologies that will enrich the learning experience for students and educators, especially in digital education.”

Founder of Kelas Digital, Henry Mappesona, emphasised the shared commitment to educational excellence.

“Together, we’re poised to make a meaningful impact on the field of digital education and beyond for Indonesia,’ he said.

Farzamie praised the partnership as a major milestone in strengthening educational ties between Malaysia and Indonesia.

“This is a landmark collaboration between two reputable names in digital education in Southeast Asia. We hope Todak Academy will be able to provide excellent options for those who are interested to delve into the gaming and creative industry via the Kelas Digital app,’ he said.
