Shaoshan: The Third Xiangtan Tourism Development Conference and the Fourth Tan Business Conference took place in Shaoshan, Xiangtan city, Hunan province, from October 28th to 29th. The event marked a significant collaboration between cultural tourism and business industries, aiming to foster growth and investment in the region.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the conference uniquely combined the themes of “cultural tourism” and “Tan businessmen.” Following the opening ceremony, emphasis was placed on cultural tourism projects and related industries. A special investment promotion and project signing ceremony was held for the cultural tourism sector and the Xiangjiang Science City (Xiangtan) segment. This strategic initiative effectively merged cultural tourism with commercial opportunities, highlighting the region’s potential for development.
The Tan Business Conference was instrumental in facilitating the signing of 64 projects, amassing a total investment of 15.8 billion yuan. This event underscored the
commitment to integrating cultural tourism with business innovation, setting a precedent for future conferences and similar initiatives.
